Textile is one of the prioritised sectors in scope for the DPP. It is a sector with actors that act on a regional or global scale with complex supply chain, upstream often starting in South-East Asia. A dual session focused on customs and e-invoicing; separate but still related.

Customs in Europe are organised under the European Union Customs Union (EUCU), forming a single customs territory with no internal duties and a common external tariff. While the Union Customs Code (UCC) provides unified legislation, national customs authorities implement these rules, working together to facilitate trade, protect citizens from illicit goods, and secure revenue. Ongoing modernisation and digitalisation efforts aim to streamline processes and enhance efficiency across the system. E-invoicing has become a hot topic for our user community. Starting with the B2G regulation and the development of the European Norm for a Core Invoice, we are now facing B2B mandates for structured electronic invoices and also mandatory electronic invoices for intra-community-supplies based on EN 16931 as part of the ViDA regulation of the EU.
